Visit Costa Rica with people interested in butterflies, horticulture, birds, and the environment. The trip was designed with those interests in mind & is limited to 40 people. It starts Feb. 12, 2005 and ends Feb. 19. Cost from Sarasota is $2075 and includes airfare and 2 meals a day, services of an English-speaking naturalist guide, 7 nights hotel, admission to National Theater, Gold Museum,, an aerial ride over the rainforest canopy, LaPaz Waterfall Garden, a coffee plantation, a plant nursery, Butterfly Farm, Lankaster Gardens, hot springs, river safari, bus tours in Costa Rica, and transfers and baggage handling. Airfare from other cities is available and will alter the cost somewhat. This trip is designed to further knowledge and to make money for Sarasota Garden Club. All of the museums, hotels, and the travel agency are donating part of the fee so that for each person on the trip, the club earns $100. |
